So Will Your MLM Business!

  To increase your chances of success in anything, you must continually grow as a person, and learn the skills necessary to achieve your goals.

  To succeed in business, there are certain areas, often overlooked, that will help you reach the top in your chosen MLM or other business endeavor. These include the right mindset, self-confidence, an empowering life philosophy and persuasion skills.  

  To develop these skills, I've looked for the top experts in each area and learned from their wisdom. You can do the same and achieve new levels of success.

  With respect to business success, the right mindset is typically referred to as prosperity consciousness.  Yes, it sounds airy-fairy, but you wouldn't play the big game while thinking about balancing your checkbook - unless you're a pro athlete and just cashed your signing bonus:-)  - so why go into business without learning the mindset most suited for your success. The best on this subject is Randy Gage and his tapeset Prosperity. Although best known as an expert network marketer, Randy Gage is also a top-notch resource for personal development, particularly prosperity consciousness, and improving yourself to improve your business. While you're there, don't forget to take a look at all of his MLM and direct marketing resources.

  Almost everybody could use more self-confidence, especially in today's competitive economy.   I also believe everyone needs a life philosophy that will empower and encourage them throughout life. I have never heard anyone explain this better than Jim Rohn. His material will make you think in new and more productive ways. He was the primary early influence for Tony Robbins, so you know his stuff works. Personally, I like his tapes much better than his books - his ideas and humor come across much better.

  Then there is the taboo (at least in MLM) subject of learning how to sell, or to simply be more persuasive. I know most people (including me) hate to sell, but the fact remains no business happens unless something is sold. You don't have to learn to be Mr. I-Can-Sell-Snow-To-Eskimos to develop persuasion (aka sales) skills. You are trying to persuade people to join your MLM, aren't you? Try to at least learn and master the basics and you will be far ahead of virtually everyone else (if you are afraid read the confidence paragraph above). There are lots of sales training materials available, but I like Brian Tracy, because his stuff is proven and works. Master this skill and watch how fast your business takes off.

  Finally, there are times when everything seems to go wrong and you don't know what to do. Let me suggest trying The Power Pause, created by John Harrichan. It only takes three minutes and only has three steps. This will definitely get you back on track to achieving success and happiness.
