One of the best things about the internet is the ability to show large numbers of people your opportunity for much less than you can offline. However, successfully expanding your MLM business onto the internet involves using entirely new systems for generating leads. The key is to drive large numbers of targeted (pre-qualified) prospects to your website. There are many ways to do this, but only a few have proven themselves over time.

One of the best ways is through the search engines and directories. You are exposed to large numbers of people who are actively looking for information related to the keywords you are listed under. But that's also the problem; everybody and his grandmother are trying to get listed under the same keywords. So, what do you do?

Well, there are two ways of doing this, depending on the amount of time and money you have as well as your personal interests. The first is to learn the skills you need and do it yourself. If that doesn't interest you, then have the pros do it for you. Obviously, this is more expensive, but this is your business and this may be one area you don't want to skimp on. I don't have ant company recommendations so do your research and make sure you get referrals.

You can also use pay-per-click search engines, which work like an auction in that you're bidding for the top position on your chosen keywords. This is probably the fastest and one of the best ways to drive traffic to your site, but if you don't know what you're doing you can lose your shirt. Probably the next best method for generating traffic is through reciprocal links. This is where you post a link to a complementary (not competing) website and that site does the same. This can be enormously time-consuming unless you automate the task. A bonus from doing this is higher rankings in the search engines! The best I've seen for doing this is Zeus.
